For that collage one, you were using image reference rather than style reference, that's why it kept trying to add the face. If you use style reference, it does a better job at adding just the style and not the subject of the reference image

I’m advanced in photoshop editing. PS beta just seems to be an ai image library. You think I would be able to do more in depth creations in mid journey? Such as change the lighting of your face shot to match the street scene?

at the moment it is more about replacing or erasing objects. So I think you could change the lighting a bit if you're adding something, but as soon as you remove an element (such as the face) there's no guarantee you'll get back the original face. But if you're adding stuff around the face etc, then the face stays intact
