MIDLAND G9 PLUS PMR446 Modification tutorial.
Remove 5 screws on the back
Solder J-1 loop, leave J-2 and cut J-3
Now you have 5 watt output.

Hello, how does the menu setting for high and low power work after the mod?

Did you see that after your mod the EMG function is always enabled? EMG is always blinking on top of te screen. I don't think that's normal.

SVP, j'ai fais comme indiqué, j'ai soudé le N°1 et j'ai coupé le N°3, mais du coup, il ne marche pas ! est 't'il possible d'avoir une explication, de plus, je ne lis et ne comprend que le Français ! merci à vous par avance !

Peut-être que vous avez: - démoli l'un des 2 fils (rouge et bleu) - l'un des 2 fils (rouge et bleu) pincé lors de l'assemblage - Le problème ESD n'est pas pris en compte. - Le mauvais appareil a fait

Merci d'avoir prit le temps de me répondre, mais comme j'avais besoin de mon appareil, j'ai ressoudé le strap N°1, et j'ai donc recoupé le N°3, comme à l'origine, et il marche, mais bon, reste quand même bloqué, et pas débridé ! le problème ne devait pas venir de pincement de fils à mon avis, et je ne sais pas d'où ! si vous voyez une autre cause !!!!!!! encore merci monsieur !

Je fair ca est ce marche, avec mon 2 G9 plus, me je n'est past teste longtime, probablement les deux wires ave une petit Durchmesser. Le display est vue rien?

This isnt even like the d2001 on a haesu that needs a proper heat pewpew or tiny soldering iron with temp control so as not to blow out the cpu.. Or burn tru the pcb Oh no.. Just cut the loops and make sure you dont cut them only at the top, cut them off at the base so the wire loops wont short circuit the radio. How easy!! Thank you midland! *grin*
