Repairing EFOIL Board Damage

👍 Fiver glass after the first epoxy dried up or all at once?

Use the fiberglass after you fill in the hole with filler and let is cure. Make sure to rough up the cured surface before doing the Fiberglas

great video Phil. Nice work as well. Thanks also for showing the products you use. You refer to packing tape-I presume it is that stuff about 3 inches wide and clear? Cheers.

That is correct normal packing tape. I started using it because it was so hard to fair the edge of the repair into the clear coat without it. Also keeps me from touching the wet repair accidentally

Have you guys seen where a Lift 3F gets stress cracks in the hole around the diameter where the mast mounts and cables come through? Also, is it repairable?

I have seen these stress cracks and is sometimes just the paint cracking as the carbon flexes. I recommend a clear coat uv resistant epoxy over the top. Even a clear coat repair kit for automotive will work to fill and fair in those micro spots.
