Your dad's whistle when he's impressed is my favorite thing. ❤️

Same. He’s such a sweet man. Ever since I met him (c 2000), he has blessed my heart. ♥️

One of the hardest things about caregiving is your reality doesn't match the pace of the world around you - grieving the life that was for the life that is. But look at your sweet Mom literally putting on her joy to love an ordinary moment, cooking with family. And you 😭❤😭 joyfully chatting with your dad over lunch with such admiration, affirmation and patience. Ms. Heather summed it up perfectly “you came, that's nice.” ❤️ Here's to seeing humans so they know they're not alone. Merry Christmas, Whittakers!

I LOVE this series. I'm 55 and have a mother (76yo) who is my dads caregiver (81yo). This series really touches home with your parents. Thank you 💚🖤💜

Many people don't understand how it is to take care of someone day in and day out. You need to live it to understand. I took care of my dad till he passed and now I am taking care of my mom. Life continues around you and the loneliness can be unbearable at times. Through it all, there is no other place I would want to be. Prayers to you and your family.
