No one stepped up until his man did, and they spent 3 days removing trash, leaves, trimming tree branches and hauling it away. The church next door to my house is kept up meticulously by a few people EXCEPT a large area BEHIND the church, adjacent to my property. It cannot be seen from the street, so they don't bother to do anything to it. But the same person who keeps up the front area calls the city and complains about all the neighbors in the block if their yards aren't kept meticulously too! So their appearance to the public is super tidy, but they can't be bothered with what the public cannot see, and they aren't charitable to me, with severe arthritis, or my neighbor dying of congestive heart failure. Sean, thank you! Thank you for being such a great role model on how to love our neighbors. Thanks for not being judgmental. So many churches today are made up of older citizens who can’t do what you did and I truly appreciate what you did for this church. It’s also a great reminder to secure our trash, at home and in our vehicles. I have never thrown trash in my yard but I find it under bushes and high grass. I see it blowing out of vehicles passing by. You are always so good to clean out the trash without complaint. THANK YOU! ❤

I watch alot of Sean's videos & I often read comments like "the neighbor's should have..." "the owners should have...". We don't know the whole story behind these videos we only know what he shows us. Sean makes this stuff look easy because he's hardworking & these videos are sped up AND edited! Let's not bash people without fully knowing the situation. Just enjoy the video

i like what you are saying here, and the positivity behind it, but you are dead wrong. "love your neighbor" doesnt end at "hell no, i aint snitchin". where i used to live, i put my money where my mouth was, and help snowblow, all around my block, all winter long, no matter how cold it was (WI). put in work or be silent, thats it...thats all of it. the neighbors "should have", because thats how we all make this work.
@sunnymeowcatАй бұрын
@@djbadandy1 it's not easy for an average person to have all the tools and truck needed to remove the sofa. Maybe the city should have at least. We don't know how long that was there. If the grass is all bad then people would end up illegally dumping, hard to know where to dispose of items. Many people may not even notice at the back of the church. And people are at work etc. Things just get like that sometimes it is sad. Eventually they get cleaned up or paid to be cleaned, glad Sean helped

I see there are many people who have ex pressed concerns that no one in the church was there to help. As others wrote, we don't know the whole story. The concern with people coming to help is that it could have made Sean's job more complicated by having to watch out for the safety of others. In addition, Sean appeared to be dressed for safety. There could have been dangerous items among the overgrowth, i.e. nails, sharp objects, needles. This wasn't a job for unprotected people. Sean's joy for helping with no reward is apparent. Kudos to Sean.

Once again, you’ve done a terrific job, Sean. Blessings on you, because God IS watching. One thing I’m wondering: is the alleyway behind the church actually part of their property? Seems to me that alleys would come under the jurisdiction of whatever facility is responsible for keeping roadways clear of debris. Maybe they could check on the legalities. In the meantime, keep up the good works, Sean! 🥰
@tnolan3176Ай бұрын
Yes ,,,especially when there is a sign at the one end saying "Alley No thru Traffic " !! So the alley has to belong to the city !
@lynnquinn7244Ай бұрын
I wondered that, as well. Doesn't look like the residence at the end of the alley way being held responsible for their side of the alley... Also, was the vacant lot where the couch, etc. was dumped actually church property? If not, the church shouldn't be fined for folks dumping there. It's also obviously not part of the alleyway.

@timmothycopeland4866Ай бұрын
So let me get this right.... Sean has, of his own accord and volition just showed up one Saturday morning, geared up and ready to work his butt off in a neighborhood he is not known in and not expected. And you think all the people of the community have no prior obligations, committments, engagements, or that they should drop all of those to help a man who has not asked for any help whatsoever, is not expecting any help whatsoever and seems quite capable of the task himself. Right? That sounds logical to you? I havent' heard Sean make even the slightest hint that he wanted help or needed help. But a lot of busybodies and know-it-all Karens and Kevins think they know how Sean should be doing. That's what blows my mind.
