MIDNIGHT AMBULANCE COLLECTION. We’re done.

In this week’s vlog Malin was once again picked up by an ambulance and taken to the hospital, this time in the middle of the night. Van life with cancer is starting to take its toll. She’s been suffering with acute abdominal pains which we believe is a side effect from her multiple surgeries. Malin had 2 major operations along with radiation therapy and chemotherapy as treatment towards her colon cancer; she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of colorectal cancer in October 2022.
Living van life with cancer was not something we ever planned. We moved in to our van full time after Malin’s cancer treatment was finished, but the battle never ends and here we are - making ‘van life with cancer’ vlogs and just trying to get through the days.

We are a young 'Swenglish' adventure family; Malin, Tom, and young kids Charlie & Isabella. We love all kinds of adventures, including travelling around Europe in our self-built campervan called Sunny, facing the challenges of what it means to be ‘cancer-free’, after a rough battle with colon cancer.
