Oh good, I'm glad that's working for you. I figure people are likely to listen to these reviews more than watch them - they're pretty light on video content, after all. Thanks for the great content! I don't think the deck building constraint for coven is particularly strange. It's basically just paying you off for curving out with on rate creatures. Still not a great mechanic, but I've been finding that it just happens incidentally in draft.

Yeah, at least in draft it ends up being way easier to activate than I anticipated. Of course, the set is kinda designed around the mechanic, but I still think in Cube coven isn't going to be so hard to get on creature-based decks. As you said, it's not great, but it's like a nice bonus that you'll get from time to time.

I was looking forward to this! Quite a few cards I want to test on my Cube as well. Regarding Adeline, one very important aspect is that she creates a token whenever you attack, not when she herself attacks, unlike Brimaz. So, on an aggro deck she'll almost always generate an attacking token on the same turn she comes out.

That's a great point, and one which I should have mentioned. I also should have pointed out that she doesn't spawn a token on blocks.

I'm testing Slogurk the Overslime 1GU Legendary Creature - Ooze Trample Whenever a land card is put into your graveyard from anywhere, put a +1/+1 counter on Slogurk, the Overslime. Remove three +1/+1 counters from Slogurk: Return it to its owner’s hand. When Slogurk leaves the battlefield, return up to three target land cards from your graveyard to your hand. 3/3 My cube has 3x fetchlands and strip mine/wasteland shenanigans, so I think it's worth and I really hope it does make the cut.

@@CulticCube Of course I have W6, W7 was on my watchlist but I think it's weaker than Nissa, Vital force, which is the only 5 mana green PW that is competing with it.

Thanks for the kind words and for pointing out some cards that caught your eye! Oh my gosh, Cathar Commando I definitely should have discussed, thanks. That's a real card. Sungold Sentinel and Graveyard Trespasser are maybe ok if you badly want to hate on the 'yard, but I don't super love crippling the reanimator deck in that way. And re: Sentinel, as I discuss in the video, I'm down on Coven, particularly in the environment that I discuss here, which buys heavily into sweepers and creature interaction.
