What a great band. And watching a 6’8” guy dance like Peter is so awesome! And must be tallest band in rock history!

Hercules is such a good rockin' song! So underappreciated on radio!

You're not kidding! Never get tired of hearing it! The band is so consistently 'wall of sound' quality! And then there's 'Run by Night' in the re-engineered version!

Great song and great live band, especially this line-up with Peter Gifford on bass/backing vocals.

My first concert- Gold Coast Spit (they brought their own big top)- awesome show- 1983 I think. It was so hot inside- Peter jumped out on stage (giggling)to the Superman theme and they rocked the house- er- tent.

It sounds cliché, but when the English, French and Americans were dumping radioactive waste and testing bombs in the Pacific, these guys seemed to be the only ones talking about it. Great band and great message

I saw them at a small club in '88 or '89. Right up front. Man, that man can SWEAT. He would spin around or move his arm out and sweat would come flying off of him! Yeah, Peter Garrett sweated on me. At the time it was an honor... LOL I was a fan. Well... still am. But still, kinda gross. Either way, that was a SHOW. Probably in my top 5 of all time. And I've seen a LOT of concerts in my life. Cool that now he's actually part of the Aussie gov!

What ever happen to angry rock and roll? Did we really become so complacent that we just sit back and take it?
@jnpeek16 жыл бұрын
Wonderful song. Not nearly the last great song the Oils made. mynewid666 should appreciate that music as a form is fairly useless in subverting anything. Music is representative, and never enforceable in and of itself. If it seems to change anything it's because that's what people want to hear. The intention is there.. people just latch onto it for reinforcement.
