I'm also a piano composer. I know how much love went into this. And trust me. I felt what you felt when you played this part of the game. I really felt it to the bottom of my heart. This is the moment when I knew the game was more than just a remake. The synthesized arpeggio version is beautiful, but you did it @purpleschala. You made an amazing piece of work.

I fell in love with FF7 Remake, it was the most joyful videogame experience I've ever had. I'm not sure if people who didn't play the original in the 90's would feel the same way, but there were moments in the game that made me feel so much, and I can't explain the feeling. It felt larger than nostalgia. When this song plays for the first time was one of those moments. Being with Aerith at night and heading to Wall Market with the lights of the plate above shining down, seeing her interact with him, with great dialogue that brought them to life... It felt like the start of a life affirming journey. Great playing btw! I love this track so much! I hope SE manage to finish the Remake project with the same level of writing and design that went into Part 1. And more great music!

Man, you're making me want to replay FF7R again. It was one of the first games in a long time that so thoroughly engrossed me that I could not put it down until I finished it in barely a week, and a good part of that was thanks to the incredible music. You did such a great job at replicating the almost whimsical feel that we get when Aerith and Cloud are just walking and talking together. I'm sure that if you decided to tackle any more songs from the game then you'd knock them out of the park!

As far as the mainstay composers go, Suzuki was actually the star on this OST IMO. The Sector 6 stretch of music is my favourite part of the game music-wise. Just phenomenal work. Then you have all the other poppin' shit like Wall Market, the motorcycle sequence, etc. On that note, If there's one disappointment with this OST, it's that RUN RUN RUN is too short. I need me a single-length D&B version of RUN RUN RUN. I really hope Makino returns for the following games. He absolutely blew me away with those boss themes.
