He also had a card (forget the name) that conceals a character. If you taunt the field or if a character is getting focused and then is concealed it literally skips the enemy turn. This is broken on harder difficulties where even the bulkiest characters can’t survive more than 4 hits.

Sure you can use Strange with damage increasing cards like Blessing of the Vishanti but why do that, with a little investment you can get access to the most broken build in the game and it only requires 1 Strange abilty card and 3 combat items. If you fully optimise Astral Mediation after upgrading it and then add the Free modifier to it, it becomes one of me most broken abilities in the game. I will give you a run down of what you need. Astral mediation+ with Free mod Obsidian Athame combat item Utility belt combat item (better for focusing on one hero to gain xp with) battlefield scanner (4 cards version) combat item After that play with any heroes you want with Free cards such as Hunter with Call to Arms, Wrath and Inspire which all have free after upgrading them or modify cards with Free, note cards with draw effects can't gain Free such as Heal+, Leave it to Me, ect. Go into a mission, get Astral in hand. If you dont have it after using one of the draw combat items or redraws, load mirror table save and restart the mission. Use Obsidian, use Astral, Use either Utility or Battlefield combat item (not both only 1 of them), play what you get if you want too, repeat from Obsidian. Doing this gives you control over what you play removing most of the random cards element from the game, grants infinite XP for any hero with access to Free cards and grants infinite redraws (very good for Iron Man). Ultimate III is easy once you have this going. Also recommend Hunter's Mindbender+ and Scarlet Witch's Chaos Reigns+ as they can both be modifed with Free and at Ult III enemies do a lot of damage.

Mfw people think Dr. Strange isn’t the best character in the game (minus Hunter if course). Godlike support, great damage, fantastic tank support, and good crowd control. Any character in the game basically goes super saiyan when you pair them up with Dr. Spooky here. And he can fill in any roles that are lacking at the same time. GOATed carry. He’s too good tbh.

I'm curious in terms of overall party composition, I like it when each party member is diverse in their role, so is bringing 1 Support, 1 DPS, 1 Tank fine to do? or do you more need multiple DPS characters?

I think you only need a tank in higher difficulties since you can't finish them in 1 turn due to their larger health pool. You can always bring extra dps in lower difficulties.

up to you i think a balanced team is the safe but slow option wile a full DPS team is fast but risky

Nice video. I'm trying to create a deck using hte cards you mention and you can't make it legal as there are no heroic cards. Could you propose a full legal decklist?

You need to be running Axe of Angarrumus for sure. Godlike heroism cash-in for damage. And bands of Cyttorak is also GOATed, especially on higher difficulties. Vapors is a must as well, but that’s a skill. Seven suns, his legendary card is and amazing AOE if the rest of your team isn’t heroism hungry. And Shield of Seraphim is unbelievable if you could use some amazing tank support. But in short: Always run Axe (only 1) Then if you need and AOE do 7 suns But crimson bands is the best tbh, it’ll help your DPS annihilate a tough target. Just be sure to runs vapors for support. Otherwise I recommend Shields of Seraphim over bands.

For the amount of heroism is used, especially with the axe ability, you're really not getting enough damage from him in my opinion. I'm fine with Bolt being lower because it generates heroism, but axe just uses so much for too little reward

There were no heroic cards in the deck. You have to have at least one heroic card for a valid deck.

This deck is actually invalid since it hold no heroic card. A deck must contain 8 cards, including at least one of each of kind (attack, skill, heroic) and here we have 2 skills and 2 attack an no heroic.

@@haydensimper92 To each their own, it is a turn based, deck building strategy game, it's not for everyone. But I think all the people that enjoy this type of game, the $60 is worth it. I can easily say any game I don't like isn't worth its price. It's all subjective.

I bought this game two to three weeks ago and is a complete change of pace for me, but I absolutely love it. No button mashing and trying to get combos out that may or may not work. This is more like a chess match using your cards, heroics, environment and moves to utilize the best plays each turn. It is so much fun, and it has EIGHT difficulty settings, so you should be able to find just the right "toughness" for your ability. The story is engaging as well. I can't recommend this enough. You can try the trial version I believe for no cost to see how you like it, but I do agree it's probably not for everyone.
