I really like the identity that Firaxis put into each hero. Iron Man would definitely be the guy to join a team and make himself the main attraction.

At the same time, you can kind of play him as support. E.g. Mark Target and then let a Character like Deadpool or Blade clean house with their high DPS single target cards. But at "only" 40ish hours played I', still more or less a noob. Only unlocked Spider-Man... 😅

Air Superiority has been understated in this video. I can’t tell you how many times it saved me time or cleared entire levels without going the distance (especially in the vampyre DLC). Super strong card if you upgrade the base attack on top of the re-draws

The legendary Puzzle seems to be changed at least for the PC Version. Would be lovely to get the updated Version of that. The Change is: You don't start with "Leave it to Me" anymore and have 1x Redraw now. Besides that lovin the Midnight Suns Content and you gave me a few Build ideas. Keep it up!

I know you don't use items. But Utility belt would work for him amazingly because of the free draw cards of that hero. And having Doctor strange ability to bring it back would essentially allow you to draw 4 cards of hero in one turn. Almost Guaranteeing a 4 chain Surgical Strike

Not calling out Precision feels like a bit of a miss. The card is excellent with everything Iron Man wants to do. With the Surgical Strikes build it makes it even easier to chain together Strikes; no need to worry about potentially drawing another. And chaining two Hellfire Beams together does absolutely obscene damage.

Maybe late to the party, but I noticed that you insert then remove the Legendary ability from your deck after acquiring it. That got me thinking: are there any particular Legendary abilities you would have us stay away from, or the inverse (encourage us to seek it out)? The Hunter's has been doing well for me so far, and I like the AoE for Doctor Strange too. Just got Iron Man's so I haven't field-tested it.

Hunter is only required for main missions.

The Hunter and Nico are two different characters. You, the player, are the Hunter. They are required to be on the team for every Story Mission, but outside of that, ie side missions, you can take a team of any 3 heroes that you want.

The 'card game' part is not super intrusive; it's definitely not a card game in the sense of being yugioh or magic style. If you like strategy games it's a great pickup.

I was very skeptical about this game, but saw it was getting good reviews. It was on sale on PS5 last week and I got it as an impulse buy. I haven't been able to put the game down and haven't even tried the other games I bought yet. I'm on day 85 or something, which is the number of battles I've played. After all this (lots of unnecessary grinding side missions for fun) I'm still having an absolute blast. Solid 8/10 game for me. I'm waiting for season pass sale then will pick that up as well (if reviews are positive). Definitely wait for sale if on PS5, screw $70 full price games.

I can understand turn based combat not being everyone's cup of tea but after playing FF, divinity, xcom etc. It's become my favorite combat style and it's in no way an "easy way out" for developers, it takes A LOT to develop a good turn based tactical RPG
