i have to admit that i distrust every kind of religion and cult, rasta one included, but the inspirative power of this midnite band is something that goes over the specific message: it gives me the freedom of take it for what it really is, just music. beautiful music. because it's conscious and deep, pue and spiritual. it's poetry, and poetry is far from religion, poetry is straight and pure message to heart. thumbs up if u like midnite!

here some words of the man who turned 122 years yesterday, 23.7.2014 :The temple of the most high begins with the human body, which houses our life, essence of our existence. Africans are in bondage today because they approach spirituality through Religion provided by foreign invaders and conquerors. We must stop confusing religion and spirituality. Religion is a set of rules, regulations and rituals created by humans which were supposed to help people grow spiritually. Due to human imperfection religion has become corrupt, political, divisive and a tool for power struggle. Spirituality is not theology or ideology. It is simply a way of life, pure and original as was given by the Most High. Spirituality is a network linking us to the Most High, the universe and each other. As the essence of our existence it embodies our culture, true identity, nationhood and destiny. A people without a nation they can really call their own is a people without a soul. Africa is our nation and is in spiritual and physical bondage because her leaders are turning to outside forces for solutions to African problems when everything Africa needs is within her. When African righteous people come together, the world will come together. This is our divine destiny. The Words of His Imperial Majesty

Wise Words Brother. But i think we have to stop thinking in different Nations, Continents, Races... and begin to really feel as ONE. We are all the same reflection of "God", we all have the same consciousness, soul... whatever you call it, whatever your skintone might be... no matter where you were born. Only united we can rise and overthrow the evil and corrupt forces fucking us and mother nature... One Love!

@iriekillah True. Jah also says we should think of ourselves as part of the human community, not just think of ourselves. What affects one will eventually affect the other, we need to work together to destroy wickedness and corruption in high places. Thus doesn't mean that we forget our own struggles, but we must support righteous causes for the betterment of humanity. Food wars, deforestation, pollution, and laws affects us all. HIM cry for international morality still stands, we are all interdependent whether we like it or now.

Give thanks for Your Words in The "About" of This Channel! It's one of the few times InI could feel a Real Equality Respect to The Sisters ...... Everywhere a "Person" can go, Tribes, urban societies, Believes or places .... it's always n All about Men stuff. Every Woman presence, acction or Word are only "received" after some judgment under Men dogmas. And It's not diferent even inna Rasta Comunities. Even having H.I.M Haile Selassie I shown to The Word the Only Place of a Woman, Crowning Empress Menen on the same day He was also Crowned "The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, The Chosen by God, H.I.M. Haile Selassie I!" 🌠 Give Thanks also to "The Call" for One Afrikan Latin América, beyond The Rasta Caribbean Comunities! ✊🏽 InI a "Negríndio" Roots Descendant once again Give Thanks! Blessings n Respect! Selah! ........ 🌟🙏🏽🌱🌻🌹 ✊🏽👑👑

rasta a religion, man, with books and dogmas and so on; but i'm focused on the inner spirituality: it's free cause it's not connected to anything, even the words. it's just chantin' and vibratin', the most deep and primordial ways of humans expression. if u can take just dis, then there's no limit to consciousness and growth, pure light!
