I have acquired a Mids Boss last month. Personally the pick up is awesome, great balance, and value all across the blade, mid profile. Great allround bat for power hitting and stroke making. R

Lovely looking bat, stop being so critical on yourself, production quality was spot on I didn’t even notice the things you mentioned in the comments. also I will confirm that the midluga was players grade. As Jacob is reselling I’m guessing he marked up the price accordingly. But on MIDS price list that they provide privately it clearly shows players grade is what I paid.

TBH I'm not happy with this video, but I learn for my mistakes and will improve the templates and settings to squeeze more quality out of my future filming

Definitely expected to see some narrowing with a bat that size.

Great review! Wayyyy to much redwood in that to be a limited edition, in my opinion anything with more than 40% redwood regardless of grains is a hard sell at a premium price

I've never heard of serbian willow...did not know that was even a thing for cricket bats.

It’s English Willow saplings planted in Serbia. Not sure the reason, but there is a willow merchant.

Serbian Willow as per my experience, is not up to the mark with English Willow. I have used both and Serbian Willow was a disappointment. Please do guide us more about the two Willow qualities.

If you go and have a look at my 3 part JP Gavan Secret Willow review you will get my thoughts on that bat. You gat get really big profiles. You can also have bats that are not durable if their is not enough wood in the profile. I think its interesting. There is a market for all types but I just think the seller need to be upfront about the origin. The market demand can then dictate the pricing.

Looks Serbian. Cant say for sure but judging from the color, cover and grains, very high probability that its not english willow. Or it could be english willow butterfly bat bcuz i did notice a mark on the back which resembles that on a butterfly but can't say for sure. Either way for the price mentioned i wud say its overvalued bcuz higher grade bats always have more sapwood and usually not more than 30 percent heartwood so either way this is definitely not a high grade bat.

Yep, that was my concern. If it is it's not worth $600AUD

Not sure about the value of this bat at $600+ AUD

I’m not sure why the owner purchased it. Hopefully not because he was told it was meant for a international player. People attribute value to things that are unable to be validated.
