How would you grade each of the Raps starters + Darko this year?

It’s really hard to watch these Raptors Podcasts…. RJ deserves a C… because his defence hasn’t improved and he is limited on offence. Barnes yes deserves a B….. but not because you expect more and hasn’t lived up to expectations….. because this year is a write off and he has been working on his weaknesses and it’s making his stats plateau….What’s the point on working on something you’re already good at in a year that doesn’t matter….he covers sooo many deficiencies on this team it’s ridiculous…. He is playing a position that isn’t what’s best for the team and Most of the players around him are pylons and probably won’t be here next season and yet you want him to do more….give me a break Jakob’s defence is also down… but mostly because most of the team is bad defensively…. He is a good help defender but only if the others are good.

Hambone: Luka and Harden are D- players because they are bad defenders. Either this is true or he's just an RJ hater. It's also funny that this video comes out the same night RJ shuts down Jaylen Brown. Keep hating.

Honest question, what grade would you give RJ for this season so far?

Luka and Harden are much better offensive players than RJ. Those kinds of players get more leeway for their bad defence, though Luka was hated on pretty hard during last year’s finals run, and rightfully so…

@@fabiolucarini4102 RJ started the season strong, carrying the injury depleted raptors and made them competitive against some good teams in the league. In those games the raps were one or two plays away from upsetting the those teams. He was in a bit of a slump after his viral infection(s). He's put together two good games now and perhaps most importantly to his critics he is playing with much more effort on D. He still has the random off night from the free throw line. Overall I would give him a B- given he mostly exceeded expectations and the fact he's on a relatively cheap contract. It's crazy how IQ is getting paid, hasn't really shown up on offense while being equally bad on D this season gets a C. But i'm quite certain Hambone is just trolling.

@@chihuadog I think a B is a fair grade for RJ this season, all things considered. IQ has been a bust this season, to be honest.

Soft would not be relentlessly attacking the rim. He is having a career year despite being less than 1 year removed from family tragedy. That takes toughness. Soft would be sitting out games stating mental health like Ben Simmons. Dude plays like he's still having PTSD about Trae Young the defensive menace.
