Great start to this series…thanks! Great to see the foundation that was needed for the franchise to eventually arrive at Ibaka, VanVleet, Powell and Gasol playing out of their minds in the late spring of 2019!

I definitely remember being home and watching the Raps beat the Bulls. SkyDome was NOT a basketball venue. A shame that McGrady didn't even call them back about being interviewed, but total props to Stoudamire for showing up and being honest. Very enjoyable first part, I patiently await part 2.

Thanks for uploading it on here as well. Was a lot better of a watch without all the TV commercials.

I still love the original Raptors logo and jerseys. Very 90's but I still love them. I don't regret buying a M&N authentic 99 Carter jersey.

@@sportsnet i like the whole we will not start this with random clips and looking at the horizon Cliché whilst doing it, well played. i was around those early bad years of being a some what fan of the Raptors. from Port Hope Ontario , white kid who loved baseball, and wrestling, got into basketball for a while

This is excellent and comprehensive. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series. It's kinda disappointing that Isaiah Thomas and T-Mac weren't around to be interviewed. I really hope we get to see Butch Carter and some others. I'd be sad if Chuck Swirsky isn't interviewed.

Appreciate Alvin's honesty, 100% facts that players didn't want to play here or Vancouver. That's just the reality. We still struggle with issues although not nearly as bad now.

Life long fan. Booed Damon at the draft in 95..sitting in the Nose Bleeds. Man. Since that year it's been on..'19 parade was unreal!! Can't wait to watch the rest of these I wish they would've covered the 96 draft. The raps won the 1st pick, but there was a rule put in place that expansion teams couldn't win the 1st pick for a few years after becoming a franchise. Smh

Crazy! The Raps could've had A.I. ...the NBA really did their best to ruin the Raptors early on.
@aaronhutchinson88514 сағат бұрын
@KardiFan2000 facts. I remember reading articles about playing Both AI and Damon..looking back. We should've drafted Ray Allen over Camby to sure up the backcourt. Alvin Rob was old

Hold up, is it just me or Mickeal Jordan shot it when there was 0 second. put the video to 0.25 and the ball was still in his hands, then like 3 seconds later the ball got off his hand. NWM THEY DIDNT COUNT IT sorry. Anyways good episode

I'm surprised when discussing the Raptors colours they showed an SNL clip of Adam Sandler and Chris Farley from an "alternative lifestyle" beer commercial...

they were in financial trouble in Denver at the time. Also Cleveland almost moved to Toronto in the early 80's

the NBA picked the wrong ownership group to give an expansion franchise to and led to chaos for many years way to go David Stern
@KardiFan200014 сағат бұрын
It's sports bro, nothing's written in stone.
@josephtsui579120 сағат бұрын
I missed David Stern. He fixed everything with a smile on his face… he could be tough on the owners, but look what it got the owners $$$$$.

Wow boy does Richard Peddie suck. Isiah didn't deserve this sportsnet. Once again you guys trying to make the Raptors look like a joke.
@KardiFan200014 сағат бұрын
Didn't deserve what? They gave him an opportunity to give his side in this documentary, and he turned them down.
@Mohamedhassan-eu6wx23 сағат бұрын
Should’ve traded Damon for Sam Cassell
@KardiFan200014 сағат бұрын
The trade for Alvin worked out, he was a key addition to those playoff teams during the VC era.
