Lol this hits hard. I used to play this when I was like 12 years old. I am 33 now and I still love this game to death. The sounds of those tyres screeching, the police sirens, the handling of Mustang...omg I love this

The funny thing is, this game actually has accurate simulation of engine characteristics, so if you switch it to manual mode, and learn the feeling when engine pulls strong, and shift gear accordingly, you can drive just Mustang that does 130, and smoke any car in the game, because AI controlled cars use automatic shifting that changes gears at maximum rpms. So you can have a race in Mustang against Panoz GTR and totally destroy in straight line.

i remember when i was 7 and i was the only guy with a pc in the colony and everyone except me enjoyed this game until mom came and said "boy your daily dose of gaming (of 1:30 hours) has finished" and all the boyes would run to their homes and i was sed cause i didnt even play for 15 mins lol and after confessing to mom that i wouldnt get play time as the boys played mostly mom used to say that im out with uncle john (who has never existed) and the best part is they at a time started predicting i was with "john" lol

Maybe some day, anyway, I really liked this game, especially foggy San Francisco at night and doing challenges in Ford Mustang 68 and Mack truck. The truck was more fun because it has bad handling and somewhat decent top speed so when you win with it you feel like a pro
