Nice job! What's funny is that I'm subscribed to a few car channels and those cars look WRECKED. Mold, years old grime, rust. So yours looked comparatively clean! 😄

If it had such a nasty nicotine build-up it must have smelled not so great either. Was the smell all gone after your clean up? Great job as usual .👍

My car sat for a year and mice got into it and I cannot get the smell out. I’ve had it professionally cleaned, changed the cabin filter and tried to clean the vents with those car bomb type things, spraying stuff into vent that I saw someone do, and what feels like everything else in between. Would you possibly have any other suggestions? I really do not like driving anymore because when I get out my clothes smell like the car and I am mildly allergic to mice. Ehh, it’s been a nightmare for the past couple years and I’m grateful for the advancement in delivery services 😅. Any thoughts or suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thank you 😊

Whenever I see I a video of someone cleaning something with nicotine buildup makes me wanna stop smoking.... and then smoke when the videos over. On the plus side I'm not a pack a day smoker anymore

They say in recovery it's all about progress, not perfection. Keep on trying! I know there is a Nicotine Anonymous group that operates like A.A. They have in-person, phone meetings, and Webcam meetings that are great support. I never smoked but I have had issues with depression & sex/porn addiction and utilized those Anonymous groups and they really help if you can put in the effort. Best wishes on a better you!

I smoked beginning in high school years (1970) then quit for the last time in January of 1985. One thing I learned was that you have to prepare yourself and your mind t by convincing yourself you are not a smoker, etc. even while you continue to smoke. Imagine yourself as not being addicted to cigarettes or whatever you are hooked on. Once it becomes "real" in your mind then you can work on the physical habit and addiction. Also, an important factor, it has to be something you actually want for yourself! If you enjoy it so much that you don't have a desire to stop then your chances of success are limited at best and nearly impossible (worst case scenario). In other words, you have to want it for yourself-the motivation has to come from within your heart and mind. If you do want to stop- drink lots of water and bathe frequently to wash all the nicotine, tar, and other toxins out of your body. It won't be easy but it's well worth it! When you would normally smoke, (like after you first get out of bed or following a meal) find something that will distract you until the "urge" is gone. Change your habit until the urge is gone. I know it doesn't work this way for everyone, but I had to go cold turkey, If I would smoke one cigarette, I would always go for a second, then a third, and pretty soon I was back to smoking a pack a day. Even after almost 40 years I still occasionally have dreams that I am smoking again, and I can't remember when or why I started again. It's such a relief to wake up and realize it was just a dream, which is a huge relief!!!

@@UN33kWabb1TI absolutely agree! Still dreaming of smoking (after 30! years of abstinence) and then suddenly waking up thinking „Thank goodness it was only a dream!“🙏 I just really WANTED to stop - and stopped!

It’s called a Lilly brush. The Detail Geek used to promote them but he hasn’t mentioned them for some time. A small squeegee would do a similar job.
