@@PresidentBr0wnVagena2024 That is ridiculous. Police enforce laws, they ensure compliance with the laws. Not only is it much more pleasant to speak to a friendly person than a rude command machine, but people are also much more likely to comply with a friendly person. So what you're suggesting is actually diminishing the safety you say you want. If an officer allows a serious security violation in the name of not offending anyone, that's another story - but that didn't happen here. And they considered the "past" anythithat happened before today. I'm talking about things they did only the day before. So they'd say, "We can't get into trouble for stuff we did yesterday!" It used to drive me crazy! That alone made me so grateful I couldn't have kids.

It's a well known fact that people with low IQ do not have a concept of the past or future (or at least not in the same way as regular people do). They are living in a science fiction parallel universe where there is no continuity with themselves 15-seconds into the future. As a normal person, you think you are still you 15-seconds into the future, not so to them. They see no relation to themselves 15-seconds into the future. @@jordanmiller5088 I do believe she would have been acting just fine as long as she had her way, but she clearly was so intoxicated she would be acting up if anything happened that she didn't like. Had the airline let her fly, they might have had to make an unscheduled landing elsewhere to get her off the plane. She would then be an angry intoxicated person in an unknown city, and hundreds of people (passengers of her plane, passengers of planes that had to be delayed to accommodate the landing, security staff, air marshalls, etc.) would be duped. Accommodating one person and risking inconveniencing hundreds of others would be an entirely different story if the one person was the Dalai Lama on his way to Moscow or Jerusalem to have the parties sign a lasting peace treaty, but we are talking the one person - out of many who had to wait for hours - irresponsible enough to drink too much.

I don't think so. Being nice and kind after the fact doesn't matter. It is like saying, I targeted you, but I'm going to be kind about it. This is all very suspicious. It is like racial profiling on the streets, where cops target you if you are black behind the wheel. They sell alcohol at airport bars and on the plane and then remove and deny "certain" people who appear to be intoxicated? Then, why serve and allow alcohol at all in airports, unless they are playing "pick and choose who we don't like" games? They did the same thing back when they were denying blacks the right to vote by having tests for them, but not for others. It is called singling people out.

I mean I get it. Being delayed for hours and hours and not being able to go anywhere, being uncomfortable and many times having a schedule you need to stick to, especially if you have connecting flights, it can be super frustrating. But he said it exactly right- EVERYONE at the airport that day was delayed, many for hours due to weather, and no one else was acting how she was. If you want to have a couple of drinks before your flight to relax, fine. But it's probably not a good idea to go drinking for several hours when you're already upset, especially knowing that the airline can deny you boarding if they think you're too intoxicated. They don't have to "prove" anything so it's best to stay on the side of caution.
