Thank you for making this. This was amazing 🤩. Performance Reviews and Rick Hoover need to watch this before saying that’s a laugh that the Dyson cleaned better than the Miele and Sebo. This machine clearly outperform them both. The Dyson has way more agitation and the airflow is in the 70’s compared to the 60’s on the Miele and Sebo. The Dyson actually changed the color of the carpet.

@@DillonCleans The fact that people like Performance reviews, Rick Hoover, Steve Cain and Glastonbury Vacuum would not except that the Miele and Sebo do not live up to the hype of what they are supposed to be and that they would just comment that you’re test is rigged and not realistic, I receive and interpret that as an indication that they do not wish to except that their videos are flawed and find better and more honest ways to test vacuums for a change, and instead that they wish to continue to misinform and scam those who believe the Miele and Sebo outperform the Dyson in every aspect. It really bothers me how no matter how much you criticize or point out to the flaws in their videos, they will just deny that there’s anything flawed or disingenuous about their videos. They will never change!!

Great Video. Just one question, what are your thoughts on the dyson when it comes to the air purification process? My research shows that having the bag-less vacumm Dyson is lacking the air purification.
@DillonCleans2 жыл бұрын
so that’s not really true. Dyson is certified by the asthma and allergy foundation of America. None of the other machines are. Dyson has great filtration. And when it comes to emptying it. It has a method that allows it to be very far into the trash can so it won’t contaminate the air. The research that says they are bad is extremely nit picky. The other machines are good for filtration too. But don’t think just because the Dyson is bagless it has bad filtration. It’s just not true. Thanks for the question. I hope I answered it enough to answer your question. If you have any more questions. Please let me know. ☺️

Just saw the video and it would have been nice to have seen the condition of the vacuums before you started. Were the bags new and empty, and was the dyson’s canister empty and clean? What were the conditions of the brushes and filters of the vacuums? These would all play a factor in how well they would work. Also I thought that the vacuuming was not done consistently, the length and speed of each pull back, and push forward was not consistent, as well as how wide you were vacuuming seemed to very different between the vacuums. Perhaps it was cause it’s easier to move the Dyson or that you were more tired by that time, but you had more short and consistent movements compared to the other two. Other wise it’s a good video, and would you come over to vacuum my carpets please? 😊

I don’t have a Dyson but do have the Miele vacuum. So I really can’t respond to much with this test but as for the Miele and Sebo I would feel that the build quality would win. What do you think? Great video.
@DillonCleans3 жыл бұрын
Miele and sebo are built better than the dyson, and would last longer due to the main fact of them being bagged and the dyson being bagless. The dyson is still built well. But not as good as the other two. The sebo is the best built out of all of them. The miele is good but not as good as the sebo. But the dyson cleans better than the other two. so it just depends on your needs which one is best.

@parwaz78613 жыл бұрын
I'm not really surprised the Dyson picked up loads of dirt the Miele and Sebo left behind, the cleanerhead on the Dyson is so much more advanced than the two, the sebo head also doesnt dig in very well and the Miele one is just a basic cleanerhead with a floating brushbar. The thicker the carpet the higher the brush goes on the S7 but the thicker the carpet, the more the bristles stick out of the Dyson, not to mention the suction seal and higher suction from the Dyson too

hahaha cut the Miele bag open and the Sebo bag and compare it won't be close unless you used the dyson for much longer time.. Dyson is easier to push because it has lots less suction power and much less brush rpm. Sebo and Miele are literally lightyears ahead of the dyson in every category. How many hours are the dyson rated for ???Miele typical is 1,000 and sebo 2,000 .

@DillonCleans3 жыл бұрын
I have to disagree. I have proven time and time again in my channel that this Dyson has out performed the Miele and the Sebo. Also, the dc41 isn’t a good Dyson. So I would not compare a Miele to it. A Miele would hands down win. But when you compare it to a ball animal 2, the Dyson wins. Dysons are really good at cleaning. I don’t know why people think they don’t. Older models don’t clean well. Like the clutched models and the older ball machines. But the newer ball machine clean great. No arguing that. Go watch my pick up test video on the Miele and the Sebo. Then watch the Dyson one. I have done deep clean tests where the Dyson. CRUSHES the Miele and Sebo. The Miele and Sebo are better made and will outlast the Dyson. But I expect more from nearly $1000 and above machines.

Try the experiment in reverse! Vacuum with the Dyson first and then vacuum with either the Sebo or Meile - you WILL pick up dirt that the Dyson left behind.
@DillonCleans2 жыл бұрын
Yes. You are correct. Whoever vacuums last will win. My point here was price difference mainly. And in all of my other tests and comparisons. The Dyson has dominated the Miele and the Sebo. I would redo this experiment however I have since moved from this home so the results could be skewed with the different type of carpet.

I nearly bought an Animal II to add to my vacuum arsenal. But when I checked it out at Best Buy it felt super cheaply built compared to my Miele vacuums. A Sebo Dart is the same price as the Dyson, but has the added benefit of manual height adjustment. So I considered that, but now I am wanting the Airbelt D4.
@DillonCleans2 жыл бұрын
I would pick the Dyson over the sebo. The sebo is definitely better built. And the Dyson feels cheap but it is actaully built quite well. The plastic flexes so it won’t crack. An issue with their older machines. The Dyson cleans better. And the Dyson has no cost of ownership. I wouldn’t buy the D4 as is is way too expensive and too big. There are other canister vacuums that clean the same that are smaller and cheaper
@sarahholding1315 Жыл бұрын
I'm my experience the Dyson breaks easily and the filters are a constant pain to keep clean. Dysons haven't been good for years, I had an old one and it was so much better but the last 2 were crap and plastic bits broke off

@DillonCleans8 ай бұрын
Well yes of course that would be the case. Dirt will never end. This video is mainly to show that Sebo and Miele aren’t the best of the best and will remove ever speck of dirt from your carpet. They’re just like ever vacuum in the sense that they have a purpose, but not for everyone.

The vacuums I have tried with automatic height adjustment just don’t feel like they lower enough to dig deep. Including my U1. It feels good to use though compared to my Avalir II.
@DillonCleans2 жыл бұрын
I don’t like vacuums with automatic height adjustments like the sebo. But I love the floating adjustable heads on dysons and sharks. They dig deeper into the pile. Kirbys have a decent height adjustment system. But it’s not amazing. And there’s many other issues and downsides to kirbys that I wouldn’t use them. They don’t really have a purpose
@charlesrodriguez79842 жыл бұрын
@@DillonCleans I agree. The sebo Felix seems like a good machine that I’d like to try but it doesn’t have hepa filtration or a sealed system.

I love the suction of the Animal II but I can’t bring myself to spend $500 when a Sebo Dart is the same price. Agh I’m so torn.
@DillonCleans2 жыл бұрын
Buy the Dyson. Just do it. The sebo is good. But I would buy the Dyson. It actually had a warranty where as sebo a doesn’t have one and you have to take it in for service all the time. Dysons have a More aggressive brushroll. Dysons have way more suction. But they have comparable airflow but with Dyson still in the lead. The Dyson also had a less awkward Jose and wand system. And the Dyson isn’t as heavy on your arm. And the Dyson has a swivel neck there the sebo dart doesn’t. And the sebo Felix swivel swivels the body of the vacuum. Not the cleaner head. Which makes the swivel completely pointless and actually makes vacuuming harder. And the Dyson has no cost of ownership. No bags. No filters. No belts. And the brushroll will last the life of the vacuum. Just go with the Dyson. It’s a better vacuum and will give you better experience and performance. You can see many comparison videos I have done with my dyson. It’s an excellent machine.
@Dankcatvacs3 жыл бұрын
i like how the dyson performed but i would absolutely love it if you did another test only weighing the bags and bin before and after to know exactly how well the dyson did . love the video keep it up !
@DillonCleans3 жыл бұрын
I would do that. But that just seemed to much work. And the point of this wasn’t to show how much the Miele and Sebo picked up. It was to show how much they left behind. And they wouldn’t have picked up too much anyways because I had used the Eureka Altima just a few days ago. So I love the idea. But it wasn’t necessary in this test.
