Hi Scott, thanks for the video. I've followed all the steps but how would I know if I need a new fill valve or if something is blocked upstream to the dishwasher from the fill valve? I tried disconnecting the existing from the water main and put some water in after removing the filter, turned the machine on and activated to see if it sucked the water. It didn't

Hi Scott, I followed your video and your description but the reducer head is male as is the head for the intake valve. I cannot connect the two. Is there another part I need?

I have a miele g5105 and this pump is located under the dishwasher itself, not in a plastic case at the water inlet under sink. The wires run to a plug connector then to a solenoid. Can I use this method to fix the F13 code?

Very good solution. Although the design is bad against other brands who place valve inside dishwasher saving alot of complexity.

Thanks Sam, It is a pretty good fill valve in that it’s easily accessible from underneath the sink when you need to either replace it or repair it.

Miele are German and like much of the European countries they have a high number of apartments in urban areas. The valve is done thus that if the hose splits it won't flood your apartment or those below you. When the valve is inside the dishwasher or washing machine hose will cause water to run constantly until its supply is turned off.

But you've left the valve exposed and not in a case. Are the connectors at mains voltage or lower?
