Hope you're grand where you are during this storm. I just lost ridge tiles, and prob need tiles replaced on the extension where they landed. Pain in the arse, hey.

I've thought about the Mig-50. I don't know how to thing about EH's Russia thing. I like the idea of military hardware from the 60s, which I know isn't found in the new ones, but I still associate it. But then the nicest two amps I've tried were Fender twins - maybe 6L6 tubes were in them - and two of the pedals I use are there to make my amp sound more Fender-ey. Thanks for the demo!

Both sound great. But what about the gain channel? Or with pedals?

Malko, I love my Mig 50 and use input 2 most of the time👍 I also use a Bugera power soak Passive atenuator so I can play it at breakup without annoying the neighbours 👍

yes the guitarist in my black sabbath band uses a powersoak to tame his earbleeding volume.i got that wee orange in a trade and it switches down from 30w to 15w then has another 1/2 power switch on the front making it 7.5w - still got the volume at 2/10!

That MIG 60 has prob went up by at least £50 to £70 a year since you got it, never mind snapping it up for £50. MIG 50 also sounds great, and nice that it's out there for people who want that kind of amp. You aren't going to see many old Sovtechs showing up in working order. It's either somebodies pride, and joy. Or they are sitting on one, watching the price go up each year.
