MIG GMAW Structural Welding Post With Base Plate Fabrication

In this video I show you how to fabricate a structural post / column with a base plate and a mounting plate using GMAW MIG welding with 0.035 ER70S-6 wire.

Just a question, why r u gas cutting through a pwint pen line thats so inaccurate? The most accurate way is a scribe line plus a scribe line wont rub off neither like chalk for example

Great question. As you can see later in the video, I draw a line with a paint pen and then scribe a line through the paint. It makes it easier to see exactly where the scribe line is, compared to just on the steel. Thanks for watching!

u are putting your wire wheel the wrong way, instead of coming from the top to the wire guide, put it coming from the bottom it will be in less effort
