I'm still blown away watching the hole punch. Amazing

Don't know why you don't explain anything, but it's refreshing. Nothing needs to be said. Great demo. Thx

Wow! I was doing pre fab for this at the metal shop I was working for. 55 of these to be exact. Subbed. Love to see channels like this. Straight work. No commentary. No music. All action.

Can you do a video of the hole punch machine please?

kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmS3iHtveJucrrM Check this one out Mark if you haven’t already. Which has more of the Metal worker. (There’s possibly also another video I can’t place at the moment). I’ll get one posted when I have the time. 👍

You don't wipe off the oil from the saw or remove mill scale ?

How do you stop the base plate from warping?
@flclismad2 жыл бұрын
@@peterpeterson7665 In my shop if we feel like warping will be an issue we will tack on some heavy flat bar across the bottom on the baseplate.

Why it is not at the middle? How it is better than welding in the middle of the plate?

Does it need to be in the middle?

hi! how can I weld 2x2 cm square steel rod? I am making a grate. what wire size and how many amps do I need? I can only use up to 120A. would it be better to use MMA?
@TheMetalFabGuy2 жыл бұрын
Test it Adriana and see if you’re happy with the welding capability of your set/s. May be better to use mma depending upon what size rods you have. And what results both of your machines produce.

@@TheMetalFabGuy I have 2,5mm and 3,2mm electrode and 0,8mm and 1mm wire. my welding machine is MIG/MMA and can go up to 200A/180A, but my ancient electrical circuit will not handle more than 120A. how would you normally weld a metal this thick? MIG is much easier, because of how many welds on small spots I have to make, but I think MMA will hold better.

@@TheMetalFabGuy For all us amateurs it helps if you add some vocal details to the videos what you’re thinking about, techniques and while squaring up the plate things like that, tacking welds that pull the plate in a different direction

The title says MIG welding but perhaps you are using flux core since I didn't see the scale removed.
