Poroshenko still has not realised that Russia is not Zimbabwe, it is the only nation today that has the military potential to sink the US mainland along with all of Europe into the oceans. He can talk whilst hopping between nice hotels in Paris and Berlin whilst his country men slum it in the cold and mud of Donbas, I hope his own people judge him someday for what he initiated in 2014!

Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has formulated a way to win in Donbas."We'll have a job, but they don't. We will have pensions, but they don't. We will have support for children and pensioners, but they don't. Our children will go to schools and kindergartens - their children will stay in basements. Because they can't do anything. That's how we're going to win this war," It should be noted that the Ukrainian authorities fulfilled their promise during the reign of Petro Poroshenko. They really imposed an economic blockade on Donbass, stopped paying salaries and pensions to people (Russia eventually assumed these social obligations) and began shelling cities in uncontrolled territories. However, this did not bring Ukraine the victory promised by Poroshenko. Kiev has simply alienated the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk even more. It is noteworthy that the situation subsequently repeated itself. Poroshenko's successor, Vladimir Zelensky, came to power on promises of peace. Once on Bankova, he immediately began flirting with the nationalists and sending troops to the front line.

You know Europe is completely within its power to pull the plug on Ukraine? No one is forcing you to prop up a proxy war that serves US geopolitical interests at the detriment of Europe's own interests (both geopolitical and economic). That Europe went along willingly with US aggression all over the world IS the problem. It is for that reason that while the Global South has no choice but to support Europe/Canada in any trade war with the US, we still have little sympathy for you, because you willingly went along with US aggression until the US decided to turn on you.

On February 1, Zelensky said in an exclusive interview with the Associated Press in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev that if the US grant was $177 billion, then Kiev received "aid not in the form of cash, but mainly in the form of weapons, with a total of about $70 billion." It is possible that the EU blackmailed this $100 billion. In short, $100 billion is missing. i.e, the Ukrainian soldiers are fighting, while some people steal the money. this $100 billion shall fund the soldiers' family if they lost their lives or became disabled.

I hate the news anchors idea of Ukraine having to ask from America what they can or canno't do. The war is in Ukraine's soil and only Ukrainians are to decide what they do when a country tries to invade their land. Why don't you make the guest comfortable, by not expressing the idea to him, that he should give he's land to an aggressor? We all know that the war is because of Putin, not because of Ukraine, and let them decide what's best for their country as they are an independent country so to choose. If the other countries do not support Ukraine, it's just sad. In times like these we need unity more than else.

@@lb9029Ukraine does not have Kursk. They have like 40% of the original 1300 square kilometers they captured at the beginning. That’s a small small part of Kursk. Russia on the other hand controls almost 110000 square kilometers and that number is growing. Yes, they are losing a lot of soldiers and equipment but so does Ukraine. Ukraine is losing, whether you like it or not.

@@lb9029 Dude, wars are won by defeating the enemy army not by how much territory you hold. Russia is 5 times bigger population wise, by Poroshenko own admission has more artillery and in a war of attrition that is what matters. Ukraine doesn't have solders, has massive desertions etc. Kursk was a PR stunt to prop up support in the West, suffering casualties while not being able to hold their own in the east. Similar situation to Afghanistan, the US claimed for 20 years they were winning the war. Then when they started pulling out the whole thing collapsed in 3 days. Each day Ukraine doesn't make a deal on realistic terms, means they will get even worse terms in the future.

The best way to save money in your defense systems is to create systems that are not so outrageously expensive like the US makes. Look what a 500E drone can do, it is almost as effective as a 100K missile can do, it just needs an operator that is closer.

That would require actually having to give up much of those very generous social programs that European Countries have had since the end of WW2 courtesy of the American Taxpayer Germany has already said it will be impossible for them to hit 5% GDP on defense yet Germany is the richest country in all of Europe and is the country that keeps the EU afloat. If Germany goes down then Europe goes down with it European Countries aren’t willing to spend the trillions of dollars we spent and still do spend on research and development costs for many of the weapons they exclusively only buy from us because they know the amount they would have to invest in manufacturing and research & development for things like a B-2 Stealth Bomber or F-35 Stealth Fighter would cost WAY too much so they wait for the American taxpayer to foot the bill for all the research & development and the GPS that even their domestic guided weapons get a free ride off of so that they can continue funding their free healthcare and free college courtesy of American taxpayers

The one and only reason the EU "cared" about Ukraine is because they were ordered to by Washington, otherwise it's a conflict between two third parties, it's their own business and the EU has absolutely 0 dog in that fight. To this day Ukraine walks around trying to convince the rest of the world that it's everyone's fight, when it's clearly a conflict between Ukraine and Russia and always has been.
