I don't see why it became such a disaster. The game was fine and the story is much better than most OG Mega Man games.

@@phillipineball889 I guess it came up to the fact that it had a lot to live up to, not really helped by all the hype. I mean, Keiji Inafune really wanted this to be the next Megaman, one of the most popular platformers ever.

I still play this game & have always enjoyed it. Best I can figure is external factors like repeated delays & horrible PR soured people on it before they even got a chance to play it. The game itself is solid. Not perfect, but far from being a bad game.
