Please explain WHY this wasn't broadcasted and shown for everyone?! It's insulting. This is one of the best performances of the concert. Jimin and Ayeon vocally flayed the stage. Jimin was fully 100% in vocal diva mode. She killed it. We only saw Ayeon perform once on the broadcast. She also deserves to be praised for this stage. This is literally the best stage; and it's missing. I love KPOPSTAR and have great affection for the love you have shown Ayeon, Lee Hi, and Jimin in the past but this was a NO NO. If you couldn't get permission to broadcast this song than the onus is on you and you made a very unfortunate mistake. But going back to this performance - this performance shows why Jimin is the rightfully queen of KPOPSTAR. She is no doubt one of the best and youngest singers in Korea. (Someone gotta alert JYP tho)

JYP is not promoting Jimin in the right way. Her comeback last summer of 19 to 20 is lit you guys should check it out. But Jimin herself said that she had to go with 'Try' as the title song even though she expressed she preferred other styles of more upbeat ot rnb music. All the other tracks are more her style i believe. Sometimes i wish (as much as I love Jimin being part of JYPNATION) i think she'll be better off as an artist in Jay Parks Company like G.Soul has moved to. That being said, i think shes having a comeback soon and is collaborating with a Jyp artist, (probs JB). I hope everyone supports our girl, this is just my opinion

Abbey N it's because the genre she wanted to release is not public friendly and she said in that same time that they wanted her to introduce her true color of music gradually so that it does well. that was the plan with the title being Try. it's not that the company is not promoting her she has been on dingo music when she was promoting the album plus she has been in indie type of concerts. have u seen the fancams. it's all there if u search it. but its all like hidden cause it's not idols type of promotion.

Actually-no. Jimin has stated she wanted to release music multiple times. She even said she had been blocked. Jae, while it was said carefree, on ASC stated "Justice for Jimin." Her promotions are very short and poorly promoted. And we barely ever see her perform at any concerts and is nonexistent at festivals (that's Yerin). JYPE could have and could do much better for Jimin,

This performance really shows the divide between a powerhouse vocalist and a very good singer. Ayeon is a beautiful singer but she was out-matched by Jimin. Jimin own and controlled the song. I really want to one day hear a full version of this song from Jimin. But get well Jimin ~!

Honestly, it should have been Lee Hi. Not saying Baek A Yeon didn't do good, but her voice isn't for a power house vocal song like this which made Jimin overpower her. Just being realistic, and it could've really put it to that level the song needed.

I'm a high-key fan of Lee Hayi (followed her more than Jimin after they won on Kpop Star), however for this particular song I agree with Baek Ah Yeon being picked. Jimin is more of the powerhouse vocal in the Whitney Houston sense while Baek Ah Yeon is more light & airy in a similar fashion to Mariah's voice. Lee Hayi's voice I love but she's got her own deep, dark sultry genre that I'm not sure would've matched this song. You're right though it would've definitely been a whole different level of re-interpretation. I hope they do in the future.

The most amazing aspect is that age 14 she was already a very good singer. She is part of the TOP3 best singers in KPOPSTAR (IMO Shannon, Seunghwan, Jimin). KPOPSTAR knows they stumbled upon a vocal queen as she has been visited back so many times to perform. KPOPSTAR has promoted Jimin better than JYP. JYP still haven't fully awoken to promote and supports Jimin. ANTENNA MUSIC (very much so) and YG have done better - there is a reason no contestant since KPOPSTAR 3 has chosen/elected to go to JYP.

she unfortunately developed vocal nodules last year (you can hear videos from her singing late 2016 and see her voice was really unwell)... but as she got better, she's learning to control the "soreness" of her voice and make it "raspy" for a nice sound!
