APD had to act fast in this case because they had information on armed and dangerous people inside the home, strange how a recent deadly swat situation took place after they left a heavily armed and dangerous man inside his home in NE ABQ for ten days while he was having major homicidal/suicidal ideation and had committed family violence. The day he had his mental break and attacked his family, officers showed up and tried to make contact over the loudspeaker for ten minutes and then left the scene without ever making actual contact at the residence because he was armed and too dangerous for them to contact at the door, but he was just armed and dangerous enough for them to leave in the neighborhood where he could have potentially harmed his civilian neighbors for ten days finally escalating to the use of the full swat team and many resources to do a body recovery. A tale of two very different APD's.
