Migrating to the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software

The Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software is designed to take your advanced FPGA designs to the next level with a suite of added features including an advanced synthesis engine and the Interface Planner tool. In most cases, migrating an existing Intel Quartus Prime Standard Edition project to the Pro Edition is as simple as opening the older project in the new software. However, there are a number of things you may need to check to make sure the migration goes smoothly. This training discusses features in Pro that don’t exist in Standard, project assignments, Tcl scripts, and other items that may need updating, including regenerating IP cores and replacing Logic Lock floorplan assignments with new syntax for Logic Lock regions.
