Sacramento, my front door will not open, literally. I arranged for a repair to be done tomorrow morning. The door in the frame fits differently. I am certain it must be due to an earthquake today, Tuesday May 14, 2024, sometime between 5 Pm and 9 PM.

I appreciate you going over the old dates of when the largest X flares took place. It was very interesting indeed to see such high X class Solar Flares. Great to was your explanation on the difference between Solar Flares & CMEs & their impact on Earth, especially helpful for those they didn't know & it helps take away the fear that some people have when these things are mentioned as the MSM often ramp up the fear. the day that CME came in, I was having breakfast in a small Nebraska town, and some farmers were talking about how some of them were affected by skewed in their corn planting activities GPS connectivity I guess you could say about 4:30 pm on the day it came in,,,I mention this bc you said there were really no issues that you knew of, besides having lots of auroras, but planting season is pretty important, so any interruptions by technical glitches due to satellite issues going a little awry due to CME, etc., well that is something to be concerned about for now and into the future. There was some limited media coverage about it.

Look at the topographic imagery, the San Andreas Fault (SAF) is a dextral transform fault of the East Pacific Rise (EPR) spreading ridge offsets in the Gulf of California; both sides of the SAF are moving in the same direction at differing speeds and rates.

I’m in the Coachella Valley and have been for nearly 40 years I’ve been watching the migration and I’m not to concerned about 1.0’s and 2.0’s there gonna need to get a lot stronger than that looks like normal activity to me just slightly elevated currently. But I could be wrong wouldn’t be the first time

Yesterday, I helped a baby Blue Jay being attacked by a stray cat. I shewed the cat away, scooped up the baby, and headed to the closest Audubon near us in Washington, and that was Oregon. My GPS was connecting and disconnecting the whole way there. On the way home, I had to pull over for a good 15 min until the GPS could grab a signal.... was really bad.

Here's something I'm confused about and I'm wondering if someone might have an answer for me.. I live right outside of Pittsburgh and on Friday when the Aurora was at its best I heard accounts from people who were very close to the city and saw a lot and some accounts from people who drove North into the darkness of the country and saw nothing. As far as I understand there was not a ton of cloud cover so why would that be? Isn't traveling north for viewing a sure thing and why not? TYSMIA!

X marks the spot. Just had a 2.99 X Solar Flare from the Sun coming in from the Eastern Limb so it was hard to calculate & it could have well been higher.
