I have been to a western country (UK) and i must say i completely agree with Dr zakir. Its impossible to say you can practice your deen without any interruption in the western world. I myself faced so many problems. After going there you are more likely to chase the dunya. Being poor in muslim countries is better than being rich in so called developed countries, if you truly value your deen more

You can't use Pakistani statistics as they are highly inaccurate. Many crimes go unreported due to the incompetent and corrupt police. Everything else is up to personal judgment. His bias against the west in general is a bit much. Im not saying the west is paradise but there are genuine situations where on the ground some Muslim countries are worse tyan western countries. For example, India is a county where it is better to move to the west. I've another scholar famous say that moving to the US from it is ok.

Assalamualaikum. I have emigrated from such a Muslim majority country where the boss in office says that honesty is good but it's a disease for someone being unsmart. As per Quran Allah SWT created human being with honor in different Nations and languages. Alhamdulilla, in some western countries tremendous development in spreading the values of Islam has been going on. There are lots Islamic scholars and institutions there. To be a good believer doesn't depend on the country we belong. We know Prophet SAWS allowed the Sahabas to migrate to Abesinia , a non muslim country.

Sheikh, first we need to define what is a "Muslim country" in this century. There are a lot of so called "Muslim countries" where 90% of populatuon are Muslims but the governments put a lot of restrictions on Muslims for practicing their religion. For example, former Sovet Union countries like Tajikistan where I am from originally, the government doesn’t allow girls to wear hijab for going to school. Schools and universities don't allow hijabi girls to the universities and schools. Also, men are not allowed to grow their beard (sunnah way of beard, not like stylish short beard). Moreover, there are age restcictions for going to masjid. Also, students can't leave classes to go to jumah prayer. Also, if you wear hijab, you can't work for government offices. You can't pray in government offices when you work. There are many more examples. So my question is: Is such "Muslim country" better than USA where a Muslims are allowed to practice their religion better than in such a "Muslim country"? It's obvious that Muslims have to make hijra from a place where they are not allowed to practice their religion freely.

You need to make hijra to a country which is also considered Islamic where you can practice It's OBLIGATORY TO do hijra from NON MUSLIM country America is identified as NON MUSLIM country Also if your school stops you from hijab, you CANNOT study there

Law of the land has to be Islamic. It’s not necessary if it’s implemented or not. For example, if I go to court against a gay festival, if law decides in my favor according to Quran then it’s a Islamic system. If court decides based on any other law then it’s a non Muslim country. Check the recent news what happened in pakistan for a such festival then ask your self how it would have been decided in countries such as USA or Uk. Allah knows best.
