Excellent drumming on great sounding drums. I love how you include the cowbell in many of your rhythm demos. I use mine quite a bit as well -especially when I'm playing Jazz it really adds spice and it is definitely different -nobody expects to hear a cowbell, even though it's just 1or 2 notes hit each time here and there. ~☆

I guess the tuning of the 10" Tom is to mimic the macho drum of the timbale considering some of the Latin flavour in the solo. great playing!

super excellent playing and setup. that 10'' Tom though...when it's choked sounding without muffling, it is too tight. tighten the reso head and loosen the batter head and you will get a lower pitch but still obtain the jazzy sound, won't choke up so much. Just my opinion. But sexy video and playing bro.

10 inch tom sounds good , a poor resonance in my opinón comparison with other woods, but sound good , bass drum a 13 inch tom sounds amazing...

Christopher Jobe If I'm hearing it correctly, it sounds like he's incorporating this cool little rudiment called the blushda. Essentially, it is a grouping of three beats. The first beat is flammed, both hands playing at the same time. The second beat is a right handed diddle, you're doubling the hits on the right. Third beat is just a left hand hit. Put it together and you get that super cool "chuh-diga-dah" feel. Check out some other videos on KZbin on it, that explain it far better than me. Drum on!
