My kids favorite feature you forgot to show is that the BACK SEATS RECLINE!! I mean, they don't go all the way down as the back wheel well is there, but is reclines enough to put you in a nice, relaxing nap position. That was a feature we missed about having our van but now, we still have it.

Comparing the '21 vs. '20 Santa Fe SEL, is another benefit improved insulation and an acoustic laminated glass windshield and double paneled glass side windows resulting in a quieter cabin and ride? I haven't received the calligraphy yet, but they are on their way. The Santa Fe spare tire is actually under the car. That way if you ever need it you don't have to unload whatever you have in the cargo area.

If you get the premium, you still have CarPlay and Android auto, but you'd need a cable. Remote start can be used when you download BlueLink and you can use it on Android and iOS. Only thing not available for Apple at this point is the Digital Key because Apple seems to have more hoops to jump through. Not exact sure why.

Great video thank you. Wanted your opinion on the power - the main difference in the loaded SEL vs Limited is the engine (turbo vs not). Does the SEL provide enough power for daily driving with a family, in your opinion? Want to make sure we aren't struggling to get up to speed, but thinking the $5,000 price difference in the two (Premium SEL vs limited) is steep. Unless the SEL just doesn't have juice it seems the smarter buy. Thoughts?

The $5k difference is more than just motor, but the power on the non-turbo is more than enough. Obviously the turbo has more get up, but the naturally aspirated does the job well.

Hello Miguel, very informative and detailed video...!!! I have 2021 Santa Fe SEL , which has Forward Collision Avoidance Assist. I have tried the warning to set off but it never comes up, I tried driving too close to the car in front, tried going too close to the car at the red stop, even setup a pile of boxes and tried to hit them but the warning never came off. I do not have any malfunction lights on the dashboard. Do you think this is how FCA works on Santa Fe SEL?

Hey! Forward Collision Avoidance Assist is when the Santa Fe detects a possible impact so driving a few car lengths behind another car or pulling up to boxes will not activate it. Just make sure you go to your settings and ensure that your SEL isn't set to just Forward Collision Warning. (ONLY WARNING/ NO ASSIST) You have to set it to Forward Collision Assist for it to actively brake if you don't have enough reaction time.

On the SEL, the side rails are standard, but the cross rails are an option. Not sure if the SE will have the side rails because I haven't seen one yet

I test drove one of these just the other day at my local dealer. It was the first time I drove a Hyundai ever in the years I've been driving. It did surprise me. I liked the comfortable seats, the layout of the dash and how much leg room it had. It drove well and I liked how it handled. I'm currently in between cars after wrecking my Chevy Equinox and I think this might be my next car. I'm thinking I'll take it for another test ride when I head back to the dealer next week. I want to be sure it's a solid car before buying it. What I don't want is to be stuck with a car with a weak engine like the Equinox had.

Yes, all Tucsons have led headlights (high/low beams) and the SEL Convenience has ambient interior lights which are led also

Good catch. Yes, I meant Santa Fe, but both have the same options as far as LED. The Higher end Santa Fe's do have the projector beams, but the lights themselves are LED regardless of having the projectors on them or not.

I Got one 2021 SEl+ convinence pkg. Is Steering getting tighter once you speed up? or its problem I have? I have been driven Camry 2009 with Hydraulic steering and it was smoother at all times. with this new santafe its very nice when you leaving parking lot, but its getting tighter along with speed is going up. Shown it to salesman, he tried it and said it meant to be like that. Any Ideas? Its my second car in my life so im not sure. I thought anything with new car will be better than my old car. But this is really annoying

Does the Santa Fe SEL not have navigation? I see only audio display with android auto/apple carplay listed as a feature for the SEL and navigation system with android auto/apple carplay for the Limited and calligraphy. If it does not come with it, can you add it without having to get the limited or calligraphy? I really wish the SEL includes navigation :(

If you get the SEL with the Premium package you WILL HAVE navigation. If you get the regular SEL, have to rely on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

They stack. In order to get the Premium package it has to include the Convenience package.

Only pull the sunroof switch back halfway. If you pull it back all the way it will open everything. Only halfway will open thr shade but keep the roof closed

I wish my sales person was half as knowledgeable as you are. I wanted the convenience package and thought that is what i was getting but I got the standard sel. Hyundai shouldn't show comfort and convenience on their window stickers because it was mis leading to me. But either way, there are no cars available with the convenience package near me anyhow. Base SELs don't have an electric tailgate, so it won't have thr button. If you bought an SEL with convenience package it does have an electric tailgate and you're looking in the wrong place.

Yes. From what I can find right now, looks like the SE and SEL versions get 18s. The Limited gets 19s and the Calligraphy gets 20s.

The SE and Limited come as they come. The SEL trim level comes with different things in them depending on the package you choose. If you really didn't understand the video, go to Hyundaiusa.com and build one yourself and click on the packages

If you lock the Santa Fe and walk away it will blast the horn and send an alert to your phone if it senses movement inside. If you don't want it to do that, you'll have to leave the car unlocked.
