It may have been a hit on the Gospel charts. They didn't switch to Country till 1980 or 1981. I remember it like it was yesterday.

This was performed on the Porter Waggoner Show possibly very late 1974 or early 1975. Joe Bonsall (tenor) hadn’t been with the group more than 1-1.5 years. Song was actually written by Porter Waggoner! It is a beautiful anthem and really a love song and tribute to Jesus. Oaks Band would revamp after this as 1975 was the year they really started doing a mixture of gospel and some country.
