Yes. You can set the maximum speed higher if you want to. It goes 28 mph from the factory.

It doesn’t have cruise control. There is a throttle on it if you want to go throttle only. The display comes unlocked, so you can change the settings if you want to.

Yes. These bikes are a lot of fun. Some people say they’re too fast and dangerous, and those people are probably right, but they’re a lot of fun to ride, and I live in a place with a lot of hills that you couldn’t get up with a 250 watt motor. Local law enforcement agencies are starting to talk about forcing kids to get licenses to ride bikes, and I’m sure they’re also talking about reducing the maximum speed. But for now it’s a lot of fun.

@@hoohoohoblin From what I can see, it's the myriad of 14-year-old riding Surrons that is the catalyst for these regulations surging in your country. It's a shame and they shouldn't conflict those e-motorbike with actual e-bikes. A lot of people use e-bikes for commuting, more regulations won't help the cause. But I feel anyone under 16 shouldn't be riding those things anyway, but everyone else should be left alone as long as they ride responsibly.

Rolling garbage! This company provides zero aftermarket warranty protection and you will need it when this poorly made ebike breaks down. Lousy frame made of Chinese pot metal, not as advertised. Planetary gears will probably shear off before you reach 1000 miles. The company completely ignores your requests for support after your purchase... you will end up with a $1000 door stop.
