Band is for holding the box closed. I’ve heard they are honey based. I just ordered these, I already have the 36 regular set, but I wanted the pure pigment set so bad!

Hi... they stay a little sticky but I would totally bring my pallet with me to use at the park or zoo. They rewet fantastically.

That's why it took so long to finally purchase this brand. I have so much and really don't "need' more...but the want monster takes over sometimes LOL

Hahaha yes the want monster always wants more. I don't do professional artist work and a very new to the watercolour and adult colouring yet can not resist some of these beautiful colours. This year I said to myself less buying more learning and using all that I have collected in last 10 months.
