I had read all of throne of glass including tower of dawn but not the last book, and then like 2 years later I just finished kingdom of ash and I will say it really is so fun to get back into it!! I think the book is totally readable even after time has passed! 🥰🥰 then I immediately read the whole acotar series during the pandemic hahaha it’s just such fun stories and fun worlds ☺️🌈 love the video!!

Mika omg at this point you should just reread the whole throne of glass series!! i read it for the first time 3 years ago and I'm rereading the assassin's blade right now and even though I thought I remembered everything I realized there are so many things I forgot. i feel like you would appreciate the series more if you just started from the beginning again instead of just randomly diving into tower of dawn after so many years! 🥰🥰🥰

Oh my god, the iron king got me into reading. I actually hated reading until the age of 15 (once litte 8 year old me cried because I got a book for Easter that’s how much I hated it) but these books … they are just pure magic and I will be forever thankful for Julie for writing this masterpiece. I think I have reread it 4-5 times.✨💖

Yes, OMG. The Iron King series were also the books that introduced me to the world of Fae. I loved it so much. And that copy of TMI is so gorgeous, I didn't even know that existed! What you said about the visuals/vibes of that movie is so true, I hundred percent agree with you.

This said there was A TON of great Fantasy/Sci-Fi YA books with black girls as main characters the months and year preceding Legendborn's realease: Song Of Wraith and Ruin (Roseanne Brown) Black Girl Unlimited (Echo Brown) Akata Witch (Nnedi Okorafor) Queen of the Conquered (Kacen Callender) are all great books by Black female and non binary authors too Also those came out recently: Gilded Ones Amari And the Night Brothers Master of Djinn Wings of Ebony So keep searching! There's a lot of great books with us as protagonists so don't just settle for the white people stories👏🏾 because if you want to read some there's definitely FUBU fantasy stories out there!🤗
