One of the best mini documentaries one can find. Absolutely stellar job by Mikaela and her team. It is even better, that she decides to show part of her struggles mentally in such an inspiring way. Also, celebrating the success of her teammates and wanting to push the sports forward, while being the best ever, shows that she is an amazing person and has the right attitude. I wish her the best of luck for the season and hopefully, part 2 will show win number 100 in Killington.

in my opinion ure one of the most inspiring athletes in the world, not only cause of ure success, but also cause of ure kindness, and i follow alpine skiing since the 90th. i admired alberto tomba, but he was always was a bit arrogant and showman, okay, where different times, but u always emphasize ure team and also ure competitors, cause u all share the same passion. and this is very rarely in high end professional sports. thumbs up and go on for the 100 ^^. may by i had some english flaws, but im german native, so apologize.

She is a model person and athelete everything she says and what she has done talks about not only winning but commitment and real love of what she is doing. She wants you to understand her lifestyle and how it can contribute to your own success. She is saying things about the ski life that many people who ski get out of this winter sport and never even won a race but they all know why they participate and get right up after every fall and go for the next run.

If you keep focused on what you are doing and how you are doing it, as it seems you have been and are doing, you need not worry about your legacy. Your legacy has a strong foundation already and will only build from where it currently is. It is never out of our minds to think about what is next, but with what you are doing in your racing career and the things you have started for your future it seems as though you already have a strong start to the future ahead of you. Thanks for sharing your journey and I look forward to seeing you compete though the coming season. I'll keep your Share Winters Foundation in mind as I look at opportunities for donations. If we get more people involved in snow sports, I think it raises the awareness for action on climate change. Skiing has been the sport that brings me the most joy for 50+ years, I hope to have many more season of skiing.

I know what she is going through. I have always had self esteem issues. Now that I am embarking on what seems like a new adventure, after recovering from from prostate cancer and all of the direct and indirect effects of treatment and recovery, being off the snow for so long. Really early on Black Friday morning I a driving up to Mammoth Mountain to race Masters again. At 69 years old I don’t feel ready even though I have invested so much time, money and setbacks. We shall see how it goes on Saturday when I begin on snow race training will our coach Pierre. And exactly one week I’ll be racing two GS races in Far West Masters. Wish me luck!👍
