The "staining" on the seafoam sweater actually looks like what happens when you burn acrylic yarn ( source: I knit and burning is one method you can use to identify a mystery yarn lol)... so you couldn't even wash that out! Definitely not a good thrift buy at such a high price 🙅‍♀ That cat sweater was a SUPERIOR choice!

Definitely agree on the crunchy colorado core. I think you made the right choice not getting the seafoam green/blue swirly sweater btw! I'd love to go thriftshopping in Tokyo but I'm scared they wouldn't have my size anywhere. I hear it's already hard to find what would be considered 'regular sizes' in Europe in Japan even in chain stores.

Note to Mikan/Editor-san - please if you could use more contrasting colours for the subtitles. The light pink for subtitles/light neon green for prices around the white text looks cute but makes all the words/numbers blend together and impossible to read if you're watching the video on your phone or with lower quality settings.

I agree I work in harajuku and the prices are ridiculous. I went to Osaka recently and what picked up for under a 1000 yen was amazing. I get so annoyed by the Tokyo prices sometimes. So I look for the mom and pop shops.

Ok so the crunchy colorado girl thing is not wrong. Those are mexican hoodies made with wool. It’s a traditional design. I’ve seen them in this style before. But usuallt its a full hoodie with a large kangaroo style pocket. They’ve been knick named Drug Rugs which I forget why that is honestly. I own one but I do not wear it. It was gift. I can post it to twitter sometime tho. They’re meant to stay warm in the cold. They’re very warm but its a little thick and stiff for my liking. The fabric can be a little rough at times for me as well. I can maybe throw on a long sleeve underneath however and start wearing mine tho. My aunt gave it to me. I think my aunt bought it in Mexico or something? I forget honestly. It’s kinda mexico core but also its very “I AM WHYTE N DO WEED EVERYDAY AND I AM SOULFUL N DEEP” Its an interesting thing that a traditonal wear has become. It reminds me of an old video of yours where there was a traditional mexican dress ag a thrift store. It was bright blue and had beautiful embroidery. If you came over to my house mu family would love to dress you in some traditional clothes. Also I feel on not buying too many things. I was mindlessly online window shopping and I didnt like anything enough except one item that I must have or I shall perish. Ofc its another cardigan. It has STRAWBERRIES ON IT. So I shall see if I am able to acquire it.
