One thing that would have improved his performance was to pick spots to breath and rehearse breathing at the same point every time. There were a couple spots at the beginning where he had to breath on the down beat, and then had to rush to catch up with the orchestra. Maybe he just hadn't performed the song recently and didn't have much rehearsal time.

I've been a fan since his first album came out 14 years ago, he definitely is one of the greatest artists of our generation. If you have never seen him on stage, then you absolutely need to. His energy on stage is absolutely incredible and he has this ability to really connect with his audience.
