I truly hated James Charles but the packaging thing in so forced. The blush is on top cause it's the best placement for the flap which stops the powder from touching the cream. Granted he could have done them sideways but that placement is so basic and the outside design are different. James has so many valid reasons to hates him we don't need to nitpick.

Literally, it's two things in a package, how many different ways can you package that? And the "gotcha" is...what, that one is cream and one is powder? @LadyCastlevania6 ай бұрын
I agree. Like who fucking cares if it’s cream on top and powder on bottom on both and they both have a lid for the cream. The lid is a good idea, why not use it. The rectangle layout gives you the most use of the space so you get more product. If it was an exact copy of packaging down to color, style, theme, then sure. But they look totally different aside from the fact they are rectangular and have the layout the same. You can hate James and not want to support him, without trying to grasp at straws for things to complain about with him. Complain about the actual fucked up things he has done.

Not J Charles using his followers as think tank 😂😂 if only he kept the same energy when people were talking about the quality issues his products have but nOO god forbid people criticise his “plagiarised” compact. Also in one breath he complained that it was stupid of him to sneak peek release so far ahead of launch time and in second one he sneak peeked another release… at least he is consistent cuz we all know that he needs to be caught at least few times messaging minors before he “learns” his lesson…That means he will have at least few more sneak peeks like this 😂 his “I’m desperate” line is actually his life motto at this point. Thanks for the video❤
@jayceyallen77456 ай бұрын
I don't like James but the compact isn't plagerized. It's a rectangle with two products, realistically the two products have to be rectangular inside as well bc it's gets the most space. He wants cream and powder which is normal in makeup and logically the cream has to be on top so the powder doesn't get in the cream. Ultimately Patrick Ta doesn't own that specific way of packaging and if James is plagerizism then so is every other palette that exists. They literally all look the same. There's only so many ways you can package a product before it becomes inefficient. As he showed with the lip balms. Ppl will probably try to come up with different lip balm packaging and then realize that the ones that are popular is the most efficient. That's why it's popular. Only thing I can think of him doing that's unique to his concept is making a paint brush with a tube that you press like a pen or twist to get the product out but that's been done before too. (I will say him asking for ideas from his fans makes me feel like he's just gonna take someone's idea and not give credit) There's plenty of reasons to hateJames, we don't need to reach this hard. If James goes viral for small stuff like this, it'll send a message that he gets hate for no reason and it'll make it a lot easier for him to find redemption/get ppl to forget his past. Just keep reminding ppl of the gross and actually bad stuff he's done, it's unproductive to lose sight on such a non issue.

How is four shades of self-tanner for everyone???? Genuinely asking as I don't tan.
@jayceyallen77456 ай бұрын
I think they base it around your skin undertone, like neural vs warm vs cool vs olive. And the amount of time you leave it on your skin will determine how team you actually get. I don't tan though so I could be totally wrong😭☠️
@wolffisu6 ай бұрын
@@jayceyallen7745that makes so much sense actually. But if someone who is a very fair olive tone versus a deep olive tone I feel like that same self tanner will not work, right?? I'm literally confused

I’ve seen Tati’s transition coming for awhile now. it just makes me sad to see her shift to this hyper consumerism model that is just promoting over consumption. I agree that I’ve lost my trust in her like you mentioned when it comes to reviews.

Also about beauty KZbinrs having been honest before and not now I think its because they could make revenue from views whereas now most, almost all really, revenue will be from sponsorships

I loved mikayla before she quit at ulta, recently I havent felt genuine vibes from her posts. a few makeup “hacks” I tried from her havent worked. and as someone who loves makeup, its just unfortunate when i used to love her content for being genuine and different than typical beauty influencers. its a shame what money can make someone change into

Wow I really love her alix saying that.. people work HARD jobs like in the healthcare, sanitation, education or service industry.. when I was a server and bartender literally braking my back on a double on Mother’s Day.. I was in actual tears (servers know you go to the walk-in to cry!)

Some of these people never experienced being bullied every day no matter how hard you work in your appearance. Like, some people work harder than you’d ever expect but because of little change, people don’t treat you any differently. Personally, I was told I’d never be loved because of my acne, my glasses, bad teeth and that I’m fat. From 8 years old I heard that stuff and my parents didn’t teach me self esteem or self worth, which is a nasty combination. Ended up with cADHD and other things. Parents need to do better

ok the James Charles thing is silly. I get it we all don't like him but the blush is a reach by a lot. Putting a cream and powder blush together is pretty obvious to anyone using blush the last year and many brands do it as well. It isn't some revolutionary idea or something.

My thoughts on the James and PT situation… if you put the cream on the bottom and the powder on the top, fallout from the power would fall into the cream. Versus the powder on the bottom, fallout is at least *less likely* to get into the cream. Maybe he could’ve changed the lid or something, but the critique of placement feels extra in my opinion

Makayla’s so deeply out of touch with reality. If we’re doing life trades for a day here’s a breakdown for ya…..so I do double shifts at my factory job, where I spend my hours moving huge heavy wooden closet doors across a giant factory floor to my own little station where I then have the pleasure of loading them each in a Tetris like formation onto long double pallets till they are 8 feet long and 6feet high, (I’m a 40 yr old w/ arthritis and the only female worker on the factory floor), then I get to start over again and again for about 14- 15 hours straight. Then I have a 2nd job cleaning office buildings where I have to bring my kids with me on nights and weekends, and then I have a third side hustle keeping the accounting and books for a friend’s small property management businesses. Also, while raising 2 kids by myself for the last 13plus years. My deadbeat ex pays a whooping $41 a month in child support and lives in his car drinking himself to death every day. Oh and at the end of the day after working 3 jobs, I make just enough to cover rent, food, utilities, necessities if I’m lucky! There’s currently $0.23 in my account for the next 4 days (till I’m paid) bc my son started football and needed new cleats and pads. I have nothing left in my savings or investments, or whole life insurance bc my own father decided to steal my identity over the course of several years without my knowledge and also turn our family business (he begged me to work for) into a Ponzi scheme, which ended us in a huge investigation and shut down with zero notice and not even a final paycheck. Then, my father ends up catching Covid in the middle of said investigation and dying. So zero justice or reimbursement for anything, even stole my kids small college fund I started as a single mom and paid into biweekly for over 10 years. GONE. Lost job, my house, my car, my good credit etc. had to downsize to a shitty 2 bed apartment which actually costs way more monthly than my big 4 bedroom house ever did. I sleep in a walk in closet (on a toddler sz mattress bc it’s only bed sz to fit) so my children can have their own rooms (as ones Boy and one’s a girl). And I don’t think my life is that much different from the rest of regular society (other than maybe most fathers don’t choose to financially destroy their adult childrens lives perhaps) but every person I know is bearly getting by and works 24/7. So ms. Makayla yes, let’s pls trade for even a day. I’d love to! 🙄🙄🙄🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

if you aren't working more then 10 hours a day (every day) in harsh conditions as an influencer (I don't how you would manage that) you can't talk about how difficult your job is. Working from 9 AM to 5 PM is pretty normal.

i know apparently tik tok live makes more money and i really liked the new thing tati did where she was like giving PR away to people from brands and collaborating with them and doing the tati list and then it just turned into spam or felt like it? i feel the same way i used to trust her word and now it’s just like securing the bag and i get it but she used to be one of the few influencers that never “went along with the crowd” vibes if that makes sense

I agree with you regarding Tati. I also hate that she’s very obviously has work done & has had buckle fat removal of some kind. Yet she tells everyone she has no injectables. That’s how people get unrealistic body & face image goals. Mikayla cannot speak a word of truth & I have no idea what Glamzilla is trying to achieve but she has changed & not for the better. James Charles needs to get off the internet!!
