Oh you were there? Tell me what happened. Tell me how the hunter murdered the bear. What weapon did the hunter use? Was it day or night? Did the bear charge at the hunter? Was the bear hunting the hunter? Was the bear a man eater (a bear that hunts humans after getting a taste for us)? How many people were present? Did the bear charge someone who was present and was not a hunter and was not part of the hunter's party, like a hiker, and the hunter saved that human being by killing (not murdering) the bear? Did the bear already kill or maul someone, and that's the reason the hunter killed the bear? Was the hunter hunting the bear for that reason? Because you know hunters do that sort of thing. They hunt Maneater bears or bears that maul people. They save lives. Or was it that the Sow attacked or charged someone because by chance someone stumbled into the sow and her cubs or vice versa, and the sow went into protective mode for her young. Once that happens they will attack mercilessly until the threat is dead. If so, would it have been better to let the sow maul that person(s) to death, then possibly feed on them, rather than "murdering her". Since you were there and know all the answers, and that the hunter murdered the bear, please answer the questions posed above and give a detailed account of what happened. Thank you.

Why does shit like this happen? because some states don't allow hunting over bait. most bears are "hunted" because someone deer hunting sees a bear in the right spot & accidents like this or taking small bears happen all the time. setting baits allows for observation & knowing what is around & lets people target mature males or females without cubs
