Mike: your spoken proposal could not have been more lame: just four words, used millions of times before you. There was no originality in your proposal, no expressing your feelings, no mentioning how marrying you would benefit your bride-to-be, no stating what your bride-to-be means to you, no indication that you've given thought to the enormous commitment of marriage, no nothing.
