I can see Babcock reaching folklore meme levels at this point

Legend has it that Babs once followed Henrik Zetterberg around Detroit for an entire weekend just to see what type of life he lived. Zetterberg realized at some point and hospitalized Babs. This was during a break in the schedule and so Babs was able to heal before play resumed. Only a handful of players from the Wings’ 05-06 roster were even aware it happened..

Babs clearly meant to hop on the bike to get warmed up for the 3rd since Commodore hadn’t played at all in the first 2 periods

When his career is all said and done, he’ll reveal in his memoir the cause of every scar on his face and which NHL players gave him each scar. For real, I’d imagine Babs got straight punched in the face sometimes for his tactics but kept it to himself because he’d be outed for his sleezy ways. Just like this year, looking at folks’ camera rolls and whatnot..

Babcock might be the most overrated head coach in all pro sport... He takes credit for the Red Wings dynasty when in reality he just had a team PACKED with raw talent. How did Babcock do when he didn't have super teams? Oh thats right he sucked!😂

I wonder if commie remembers being in the bar I worked at when he played for the flames during the 2004 playoff run with Brennan evens and drank 12 beers on a game night lol if I remember correctly it was coors light and the flames won the next night but still funny

Maybe Commie should move on about telling Babs stories. You dont hear Stanley winning elite players crying about Babs all day Long.

He played 17 games for Detroit. None of them against the Islanders. So Hamonic couldn't have seen this "story".

@Alfzilla8 Жыл бұрын
If you listen to the full story, he sat out through 1st and half way through second before going to the bike, not a single shift. So technically with absolutely no TOI; would you consider that a Game played? He was essentially the injured player in a press box except sitting on a bench.
@oddbob Жыл бұрын
@@Alfzilla8 It counts as a game played if you dress for the game, and he isn't listed as playing against the Islanders.

He played amazing for the Canes, which he helped contributed them to winning a cup. Mike is a great player, but it’s hard to be great when you got somebody bringing you down constantly. Mental warfare is no joke, and Babs is a bully.
