When the NY Times in a rave 3 star review says the best Pizza in the 5 Boroughs is actually in Jersey City we went to find out.... and yes Chef Dan Richer is nailing it and Razza is indeed AMAZING. We'll also visit an eastern European smoke house spot and Dale Taldes spot here as well.

Saw Mike at Peasant this past Sunday evening. My family and I were there for one of its last nights of service before changing ownership. I wanted to say hi but felt it better not to bug him while he was eating. Still it was nice to see him out and about, especially at Peasant, which has been my favorite NYC restaurant ever since my parents introduced me to it years ago. Coincidentally, my folks also introduced me to Mike's show, so it felt like an especially fortuitous moment!

Ok I really really love this episode. That pizza guy. Wow. That’s just inspiring. How you can take a humble product like pizza or bread and take it to somewhere sublime and beautiful by learning and working with it and having an understanding. Just brilliant.
