Thank you Mike @mritland for sharing with us Akshay Nanavati @fearvana on today’s @mikedroppodcast! This episode resonated with me, and I’m sure it will with everyone else, on a high level. I was not expecting that kind of connection at all; what an incredible way to kickoff this Friday morning.

This is definitely my biggest weakness. I think anybody with this weakness needs to admit that it's going to be a life long struggle. It's so hard to admit your fearful especially as a man. Iv'e been figuring out lately that the underlying cause of my depression is fear. Emotions are an energy force, you can't just get rid of them but you can move them or channel them. I hope Mike opens up about his battles overcoming fear. Thanks for your great podcasts.

I must admit that my respect for Mike has grown exponentially after this episode with Nanavati. You are as intellectually talented as anyone you have interviewed. Cudos from a retired teacher!

God damn I love this podcast. I often feel like I'm alone with the way I think, then I listen to Mike Ritland and realize that I'm not. I often throw out the subject of animals and their level of consciousness (I feel they have a greater level of consciousness than we think,) and people act like I'm fucking crazy. Mike Ritland, Andy Stumpf, Jocko, Shawn Ryan and any of the other "operators" that I'm missing, have the best, most rounded podcasts around. I wonder if they realize the impact they have on people's (especially men's) lives..

It really wouldn't, the guy is about as insightful as phonebook. All he does is spout platitudes and generic motivational quotes.

Another excellent podcast with a lot of very good information to digest and put to use. Thank you for these and know how much of what you are doing here is appreciated and helpful in ways that at times are hard to express. Yet you are a calming voice of wisdom in an otherwise screwed up world...:) Take care from Waterloo, Ia.

Wouldn't mind some content flairs on your video, you can slide some pointers on the end of the title you've done it on a few, maybe in the thumbnail, you can shorten episode to Ep. too Example: Mike Drop Podcast: Ep.57 - Akshay Nanavati - U.S. Marine, Enlightenment, Enlistment. Helps us know what we're getting into y'know. Appreciate your work brotha. Godspeed.

It's totally worth the time to try something you know you suck at, just to experience failure. Try beta testing failure by doing something you know you cannot achieve. Who knows, you may actually achieve it! If not, then at least you learned to fail. Either way, it is definitely worth the time!
