I have been one of the biggest critics of mikes salary and why he should be donating part of his salary to the nil. Well he has done it and done it in a big way. So this is a heartfelt thank you. Way to lead by example. A tip of the hat to the head coach. He has shut me up.

“I presented this to our administration in an effort to boost the support of our student-athletes while recognizing that the results and expectations need to be upheld to the highest level,” Norvell said. “I wanted to be proactive in my financial assistance through this time of transition as we all push forward to get back to the standard of Florida State football. Great days are ahead, and I’m grateful to coach these players and lead this staff. We have been hard at work to uphold the tradition here at Florida State, and I believe this step will help accelerate the process to where I know we are going.”

So if I read the details of the "donation" right. If lil Mikey either gets fired or wins nine games a year (including bowl of course! So basically eight regular season wins a year) he gets the money from the donation back. What a hero! I know the first thing I do when I give a donation is put in a contract how I can get it back. What a guy! Kind of relevant information don't you think Corey and Aslan.

The initiative is more design to bring in NEW membership. Those of us who are The people Corey is speaking of are already part of the vision of excellence. Obviously they would take more money if we donated it but it's not geared towards that. It's a campaign to help people realize that our head coach is willing to do this so why can't you help out a little bit? Essentially....

Here we go again with “they are not going fast enough in the portal and we are missing on some kids”. Let’s let this group of coaches get the players they like and want to be here and see if coaching matters. Maybe these coaches like some of the players we actually have and can develop them
@trick78844 күн бұрын
They were slow in the portal last year and we saw how that turned out: an overwhelming failure They were faster in the portal in 2021-22 and we saw how that worked out: rather successful
@Nole19924 күн бұрын
@ they weren’t slow last year, they just reached on guys who they recruited in hs and they thought they would perform. Clearly those players (some with multiple years to play) didn’t pan out last year. We are looking for guys that have produced at their former school versus guys who were ranked high in hs

@jamesb02554 күн бұрын
The house settlement does provide some language on that. I think programs will be able to construct contracts that are more binding than the ones that exist now for NIL
