Seeing all these comments about how trash fitzpatrick is, how good pat pete is and how evans got owned by him. I see where ur coming from, but at least fitzpatrick put points on the board and almost won an unwinable second half for us (unlike jameis). Yeah, Peterson played elite, but cant help but notice that evans was clearly open a couple times. Poor QB play i guess.

I certainly agree that Jameis Winston of all people isn't the most accurate or the best. But when a corner has a receiver on total lockdown, as a QB you have to make an absolute perfect throw to get them the catch. Ball placement becomes critical, whereas if the receiver has a lot of separation just get it near him and he'll bring it in. So point being, no, it wasn't all because of a below average quarterback. The great corners are the ones that afford you as little room for error as possible. Peterson is great.

King Aki'L That’s unfair. Every time a CB does well against a WR everyone always says “It’s the QB’s fault”. But when the WR beats the CB all credit goes to the WR. Pat Pete won this round. Thrown at 3 times gave up nothing. Evans had 3 catches 1 was against zone and 2 were against the backups.
