I also have a weird feeling that if you needed a coach to “stand up” to Rodgers but has offensive expertise (and has the same social views as Woody Johnson), you may as well bring in Jon Gruden. The Jets are already a PR nightmare. Why not make it bad enough with an upgrade over Nathaniel Hackett? Still, don’t be surprised if the Jets actually won the AFC East by trading Rodgers to the Dolphins, firing Hackett, and promoting Todd Downing and Tyrod Taylor. Because of how toxic Aaron Rodgers anything around him is, maybe that will help the team win. Firing Saleh wasn’t going to be it.
