And by rights, being able to post the material anywhere and to also do so making monetary income off it. So the material and monetary income of the material made from being up on link up tv and channel u/channel aka, or anywhere else still fully belongs to Mike GLC.

@@Snippets635 if content is monetised and another channel uploads the same video it will automatically be copyright claimed even if you’ve specifically allowed it to be uploaded and sometimes it’s a hard process to have the claim dropped. 90% of big channels are partnered with 3rd party companies to get brand deals and to ensure their content isn’t stolen

noooooo. that’s how it works. linkupTV have built the audience which enables them to make money by publishing videos (and sometimes even PRODUCING said videos i.e. behind bars etc.). if you want to make money from the ad revenue, build your own youtube channel with the same following which is what the biggest artists do because they don’t need “music channels”. there’s also an “exposure” transaction which i know only artists starting out are interested in hearing. sorry mike, but rashid built a digital BUSINESS that enables him to give a platform to smaller artists. with big artists (ghetts link up etc.) as i don’t believe he was on a promotion run he may have negotiated a fee or something. but as far as a slice of the pie goes it’s just not how it works. the answer is simple: build your own audience or build a platform where , yes , artists “royalties, % of ad revenue” is built into the contract. sorry mike but big up
