5 years 4 months is disgusting...i hope the mans family appeal against the leniency of that sentece is outrageous!! He deserved at least 15 years because we know he is only going to serve half or even less of the 5 years.... and if that poor pensioner doesn't have any family to launch the appeal i hope theres a lawyer or barrister watching who could do it in the public interest. How can someone justify such a short sentence for murder. As for the numpty saying cyclist shouldn't have to be registered because of the freedom and animosity of riding a bike....so they shouldn't be accountable for accidents that they cause....cyclists are all the same....they think they are superior to other road users and have the right to flout the highway code . Many of them dont use decent lights at night they squeeze through gaps in traffic sometimes causing damage and you can chase them when they just ride of and vanish down roads and alley ways that your car cant go even if your not stuck in a traffic jam at the time. Cyclist are rude arrogant and they smell all day at work after sweating their way to work...gross.
